 After 3 weeks of auditions, and struggles in bootcamp, the judges have finally chosen the 9 contestants to participate in the Bandaids X Factor Member Poll rounds! You know what that means! This weekend, you the members will choose who gets the boot from now on in! You can check out the Bandaids X Factor Round 1 right here, where all the contestants will be singing a Disney song from a Disney animation movie of their choice! You can also congratulate our 9 very talented contestants, Callie, Carolyn, Chyaz, Djamila, Edd, Joshua, Kristin, Madison and Teresa in our Bandaids X Factor Bootcamp Results thread!  Muse have taken over New York City! The band played their amazing show for the Madison Square Graden crowd and now pictured, videos and reviews are in!  Spanish radio station 40 Principales broadcasted part of Muse's live show in Madrid, held on November 28, 2009 and we are lucky enough to have it taped and available for download on our boards! Comprising all of the band's biggest hits like Plug In Baby, Starlight and Knights Of Cydonia as well as fan favourites Stockholm Syndrome and Unnatural Selection, the audio comes is extremely high quality, so much that is almost seems to be at the concert! | Muse in Philadelphia: Media update |

 Muse were in Philadelphia for their gig a couple of days ago and have been busy also doing some interviews! In addition to Chris's interview with WMMR, Muse members Matt and Dom chatted with Radio 104.5 after the gig while drinking a glass of red wine and talked about the symphony, eventually playing it with a full orchestra, being nervous about playing tracks off Showbiz in the U.S. and much more! Moreover we have pics of Muse's Philly concert in out Gallery, which you can discuss here, and from the visit Muse made to the Philadelphia Museum of Art with a hilarious twitpic from Matt himself!  As you all know, it's quite rare to see Chris doing press work for the band so it's quite exciting to have a brand new interview with Chris Wolstenholme himself! In a very relaxed conversation to WMMR Radio Station in Philadelphia Chris shared a few odd facts about the band, like the recording of seven versions of Starlight, working on the three parts of the Exogenesis Symphony, how epic the Wembley gig has been for them and a "possible" gig in the Vatican. | Muse are taking over the Summer Festivals world! |

 You might think that after six months of non stop touring, our favourite trio might deserve to have a nice relaxing summer but that's not the case. In fact Muse will be busy bees, headlining all of the major Summer festivals: starting with the legendary Glastonbury Festival date on June 26, followed by a quick visit to Norway for the Hove Festival on June 29, Muse will then be back in the British area attending Ireland's biggest summer event, the Oxegen Festival, and the T in the Park event on July 9 and 10, finishing with the French Vieilles Charrues festival on July 15!  The North American leg of the Resistance tour started last week end in Atlanta (this time no lips got broken!) and now we have stacks of media from the concert! The first reviews are in and videos of quite a number of tracks can be found in our Muse Media Section, where you can also discuss the setlist, the performance and the gig itself. Last but not least, our galleries have just been updated with over 150 pictures from the Muse gig in Atlanta so don't forget to pass by!

After 12 days of auditions, 18 entries, and 2,000 thread views, Bandaids X Factor has turned into a site phenomenom! Now the results are being handed out one by one by each judge, and we are seeing which of the contestants will make it through to the bootcamp stage of our contest.  The 2010 NME Awards were held in London yesterday evening and Muse won 3 out of the 7 awards they were nominated for! Scoring the Best British Band and Best Website Awards and with Matt and Dom in first and second place as Sexiest Males, Muse are officially the hottest band on planet earth  Having said this, we have tons of audio and video interviews in our Muse Media Section and loads of pictures from Muse at the NME Awards in our Galleries! The Bandaids X Factor team would like to inform you that the entry deadline for auditions on Bandaids X Factor has been extended to Friday the 26th of February. Due to personal schedules, surprise site downtime, and the lack of time available because of that, we have decided to extend the entrance dates 5 days. All members will have more time to prepare their very important audition! As said before Bandaids X Factor was first originated on Bandaids to allow musical talent on Bandaids to be noticed by an audience. It gives people a chance to let their talent be heard, and get rewarded for it! We're all very excited to see your auditions and musical talent!  Muse have released a 45 second snippet of each ofthe bsides on the Resistance single, which will be coming out on February 22!! The single will feature the Tiesto remix, Popcorn, which they played live at a couple of gigs and a beautiful cover of Prague, originally released by Mega City Four in 1992. All you crazy musicians out there, I have very good news! Bandaids X Factor is back! Yes, the chance to show off your singing skills to the world is now upon you! Over a series of auditions, performances, and member polls budding musicians/singers will battle it out to be crowned the most talented music act on Bandaids - and there's over 100,000 of you here so that would be a huge accomplishment!! Last year Bandaids X Factor brought in over 30,000 views from members, over 1,000 votes, and even lead to one of our finalists getting a position in her school band as a singer (Hey Theresa! haha). Yes Bandaids X Factor is truly a great oppurtunity for starting musicians to finally get heard by an audience! The auditions begin on February 15th, and more details will be revealed as the comeptition reveals itself! We have a load of surprises, some awesome judges, a friendly member audience who support the artists, and a great atmosphere for people who want to be noticed to grow as musicians!  During the January dates of the Australian Big Day Out Festival, Muse pulled out a collaboration with Nic Cester from Jet! They performed the AC/DC classic Back In Black, with Nic providing the vocals and Matt on guitar giving a Muse-spin to the song. As now a good quality video has surfaced, head over to watch it in our Media section and then to our forums to share your opinion on the Muse - Jet collaboration!

| Muse team up with Oxfam for Haiti |

 As you all know on January 13th a huge earthquake caused devastation across Haiti. Muse have now teamed up with Oxfam, an international non-governmental organization, to raise money for Haiti through an auction that will run until February 2nd and they donated the drum-kit that was used by Dom during the Black Holes and Revelations Tour.  Well..almost. Thanks to our member *Sterock85* we now know that Muse might pick up writing film scores in the near future. Matt Bellamy in fact says that they are "definitely interested in writing for films at some point when we get a break from being on the road". For those of you who don't know, Matt isn't new to the cinema world: he was among the composers of the end credits of "The International".
